Events and Festivals Celebration for HSE School Calendar 20-21

One of the most exciting events that we will be celebrating this year is Halloween. Students and teachers alike are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and participate in the school-wide parade. There will also be a pumpkin carving contest and a haunted house set up in the school gym.

Another festival that we will be celebrating is Diwali. As a multicultural school, we value diversity and inclusivity. Diwali is a Hindu festival of lights that symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Students and teachers will be invited to participate in the celebrations by lighting diyas, creating rangolis, and sharing traditional Indian food.

Thanksgiving is also a highly anticipated event in our school calendar. We will be organizing a potluck lunch where students and teachers can bring in their favorite dishes to share. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank.
